SewKwikQuilter.com is owned and run by Cheryl Berman, a passionate quilter and quilt lover for more than 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Home Economics from California State University, San Francisco. Cheryl also has extensive quilt retail experience and has been active in the quilting community for a number of years. She has taught numerous classes and lectured throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Her work has been featured in several magazines and books. Several of her quilts have been displayed at the Fresno Arts Museum, the President’s Gallery at California State University, Fresno and other museums.
Cheryl is one of the co-founders of the San Joaquin Valley Quilter’s Guild, a member of the Heart of California Quilt Guild and Northern California Quilt Council.
Cheryl has lived in Fresno, California for the past 34 years. Fresno is located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. It is a rich agricultural area of California with diverse cultures.
